Cowl Neck Satin Midi Dress

liked the color & the material felt nice but the seam connecting the top piece to the skirt was super unflattering on me. i have a pretty square torso and this did not do me any favors. the straps do not naturally sit as far apart as they're placed on the model without some weird gaping in the armpits.

I am between an XS and a S (petite build at 120ish lbs 5’6”) and the dress fits like a glove on me. If I gained more than 5 pounds since I’m a rectangular shape, I would tailor a Small to my perfect size. The drape in the middle section is very flattering. If it’s very similar to the model. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the skirt is unlined and I think that would’ve made it even nicer. The satin is nice, however a satin can snag so I will be careful with it. For the sale price, it is great value!

So I ordered his dress online went to pick it up in the store today. When I took it out the package it was on the hanger nicely package however I noticed the zipper was broken and there was a rip where the zipper is so I did not even get to try it on, not sure if it was a return or someone tried it on and broke it, but the fact that they shipped this to me like this …horrible. I had to put the way it fit or else I could not move forward with the review, but I never got to try and it on. I refused to try it on just worried about them saying I broke the dress.

The design is very pretty and flatters the waist down thanks to the overlap detail, which fits well even without stretch. However, the upper part doesn’t accommodate larger busts—I have a 32DD, and it didn’t fit properly or enhance an hourglass shape. Other negative points: the bust won’t fit, so it really only works from the waist down. I recommend checking your measurements carefully before purchasing.
