Flared Sleeve Sweater Dress

The cotton on this dress is fairly thick and it runs a little large. But it sure drapes nicely and I love the bell sleeves. I bought the neon green one and I love the color! It's very flattering. I have since bought 2 more Cotton Emporium dresses because I like the fit.

Although this runs quite large, the style and cut are very flattering. I ordered a medium and had to return it for a small - I’m 5’ 1” and curvy. The dress hits right at my knees and don’t squeeze my chest or bum.

I am wearing the dress as I write this review. The plus aspects of the dress is that the hem line, which is a bit longer in the middle of the dress--front and back-- is cute and the fabric is super soft. It is also warm. I bought the green which is a cross between olive and a bright lighter green. I happen to like the color. Down side is that the dress is oversized. I would return mine for a small (I'm 5ft 3 in and 140 curvy pounds); but I wore it already so. . . And, the dress gets a bit bigger as the day progressed. I also think it needs something, like a scarf, as it is plain looking and a bit boxy. However, had I purchased a smaller size it might not look so boxy. Overall, good buy for the price and its something you can dress up or down.

This is a cute dress but I found the proportions to be overwhelming my 5 ft frame. If there had been a petite option I might have gone with that. The knit was thick and I didn't find it itchy at all.

The sweater itself is a high-quality material, however it absolutely runs very large. I am 5'2" about 125 lbs and I am almost always a size 2 or 4, so I ordered the small online. However, the small could probably fit 2 of me in it, and I am not certain the XS will take out enough fabric for this to not look like a tent on me.

Very well made dress, but it runs really big. I tried a size smaller but then the shoulder area didn’t fit right. If it were to fit right, it’d be a super cute dress with high boots or booties.
