Allpa 35L Travel Backpack

Although not much travelling is happening at the moment, I bought this bag for a potential one bag travel. Quite surprised with the quality and the organization available for this bag. This bag is made of high quality materials and it shows. The zips are nice and tough, and interior fabric feels premium. I did a test pack and this bag can also carry a lot. I was able to pack 7 days worth of clothes with room to spare. The bag did have a little difficulty closing, but that is because I was using packing cells and needed to re-organize some of the cells to ensure optimal fit. I love that this bag came with a raincover, without needing to buy anything additional. The front pocket was quite big so you can actually fit the whole Peak Design Tech kit in it without issues. The laptop compartment can easily fit a 15 inch laptop. I had my 13 inch macbook pro in it. There is also an additional pocket for a tablet as well which should fit the larger ipad as well. The shoulder straps are quite comfortable and can carry a heavy ish load without much discomfort. The reason I took off 1 star is for the hip belts. I am 5ft11 and the hip belt comes over my stomach which isnt comfortable at all. This bag is the updated range with removable waist belt so if I was carrying this bag, I would most likely be removing the waist belt for myself. However, it looks comfortable on my wife so if you are 5ft 8 or shorter, this bag would be perfect for you.

I purchased this bag in the beautiful Black Iris color. I've owned this bag now for about four years and I'm so please with how well it has treated me. The exterior material has held up well over extensive use - besides looking like it's been used (dusty and some wrinkles here and there), there has not been deterioration or wearing of the material at all. Under-packing allows the bag to fit in the under-seat of an airplane - otherwise at full capacity, it fits comfortably in the overhead bin. The ergonomic and quality design of the exterior straps allows easy handling of the bag. The exterior material has retained its integrity and the color, still beautiful. The exterior compartment is well sized - it is sized just right to be functional and accessible while leaving enough volume on its interior-backside to be functional as well. The interior compartments are sized appropriately and diversely enough that I imagine it accommodates user needs and preferences when packing various items e. g. shoes, toiletries, electronics, clothing. The construction of the bag has held up and its quality maintained. The straps and general adjustment mechanisms helps keep it feeling well-supported (and snug when I need it to). I've had no issues traveling domestic or foreign with it. I love this bag and am still so happy to be using it.
