have their blow dryer and I love it. Didn’t really like airwrap as much because I’m a night shower. Had to wet my hair in the morning and it was long to get ready. This is more for me, night shower. My hair is dry by morning for this tool and I only spend 10 mins on my hair. This is heavier than your usual especially when in the box first arrived but not noticeable when you use it. I have long, thick asian, wavy coarse hair, and I have tons of it. I’ve had my ghd straightener for about 6-7 years so I decided to buy this one. The ghd takes away my volume. My goals for this was to straighten my hair but to keep the natural volume. This did just that! With the ghd, I usually pass it through my hair 4 times to get it really straight. I only have to pass it through once or twice with the Dyson on medium heat. I save time and heat damage. I recommend this if you straighten your hair everyday so you can get your money worth. One thing could improve on is the battery. It has a 30-40 mins charge. I do my hair in 10 mins but I would like it to last for long weekend trips so I don’t have to bring the cord.

Horrible battery life!

I was really excited to get the Corrale straightener., u nfortunately the item didn't meet my expectations. After receiving the straightener I charged it overnight to make sure it was fully charged, the battery lasted only 20 minutes, after being fully charged! I connected the cord to keep using it but the straightener didn't work, it died completely!! I couldn't finish doing my whole hair! I own the dayson airwrap and love it, but the Dyson Corrale is not worth the price!!! I wanted to love it but is useless if can't do my whole hair at once. It's going back!

I was so so excited to receive this gem! I have the air wrap and love it and swear by it! I opened my package with high hopes. It first took me 20 minutes after charging it to figure out how to turn it on. Only becauSe I kept getting an error message. I then read it had to be fully charged. Well after charging for 8 hours I thought it would have. I messed with it for another 20 minutes and finally got it to turn on and the battery had still never charged fully. I will say my hair was nice and shiny afterwards.. but the battery lasted a good 20 minutes maybe 25, it did tug on my hair a good bit, and the curls were great. So I said ok I’ll give it one more try tomorrow... I left it on the charger for almost 24 hours and I got the error message again and was never able to get it to turn back on again. So unfortunately I’m returning it . No I will not get another one only because from multiple websites I’ve seen the same issue and how the battery IS NOT REPLACEABLE even by dyson ! :( super sad!

They thought of everything here. I splurged. I am glad I did. This flat iron does not pull my hair out. It feels sturdy and high quality. It straightens to the very ends of every hair. It leaves it shiny. No cord (or you can plug it in if you like). They give you the charging stand. It curls of you want curls. My hair is frizzy, long, hard to straighten, and quite unruly - or was till the Corrale. It locks shut. You can disconnect the battery. It has a velvet travel pouch. It is not as heavy as you would think - considering you only need ONE pass for the best straightening ever! My hair was sleek, shiny and had zero static after i used this! Straightens in one silky pass! Beeps to let you know it's ready, even tells you when it's too hot to put away yet (after its off!) The plates actually connect evenly across and your hair will not spread out. I can use it on the lowest heat 335° - usually I needed 430° to get any results. This lower setting allows for longer battery life! This tool is a game changer. The plug was even designed to be easy to unplug from the wall! If you hate your curling iron/straightener and you thought you bought the best one but it pulls your hair and needs multiple passes - throw it out and buy the Dyson Corrale. This is everything you want a flat iron to be and more! You will be so happy you did! Go see the Dyson videos on youtube. And dont forget if it is not all you wanted, Nordtrom's return policy will be a blessing - but not for me, I am keeping this little jewel of a hair tool!

Worth EVERY CENT!!

pricey yes. But it’s sooooo worth it! My super textured curly hair was going through hard times during the quarantine which left us all without salon access. This was truly a life saver. It heats up super fast, the cordless feature is priceless and the best feature of all is how easily it straightens my ends!!! With just one easy pull through my hair— taking a small section and that’s all it takes! although the cordless mode it does seem to run through the battery life quicker than expected but I don’t mind because the stand it mounts up on is so convenient and it charges up on it making it easily accessible as well. You WONT BE SORRY! this is a winner!

great way to avoid frying your hair

I compared this to my GHD straightener that I just got not too long ago for 250. I also have the T3 straightener from 2 years ago. So it had to really impress me to keep it. It does what all straighteners do. The difference is, it doesn’t overheat and fry your hair. There’s no burnt smell. It leaves your hair shinier because it isn’t burning. So if you want less damage, but straight hair this is the straightener for you. Is it amazing? Eh, not necessarily. It’s a hair straightener. Is it worth the money to not damage your hair if you straighten often? Yes. Is it worth the money if you usually don’t straighten your hair and only do it once in a blue moon? No. Just use the straightener you have. I like the cordless factor. My hair is naturally wavy with a little frizz to it, long, and thicker. So for me it is not a single pass straightener like they advertise. If you have thinner hair, it will be single pass.

10 stars for the best curler on the planet

This is the curler I wished for although I had no idea it was in the making. love the way this curler performs. The fact that it’s wireless is super amazing but the performance is superb. Hair is sooo silky. The charge holds for about 30 minutes; I was able to straighten a 26 inch wig in that time with beautiful results. Nordstrom also gets 5 stars because I received the curler in less than 24 hours after placing my order. I am definitely keeping the curler and highly recommend it.
