Best Alternations
I bought this jacket for my mom in Dec. She is 4'10" and wears xl. So an employee suggested we can get it altered to fit her according to her comfort and height. Tram at the alteration center did a superb job. my mom didn't want the belt. Length and sleeves needed to be shortened. Tram fixed everything so beautifully that my mom now has a custom fit jacket. My mom couldn't be happier. As our thank you for her services, we offered her a tip but she refused and said blessings is all she needs. She has the most beautiful smile. There are still genuine good human beings on earth. I have seen other people take tips and that's ok. So the least I could do was to share her name (TRAM) and the service Nordstrom provides is AMAZING.

Very Bulky!!!!
First - the positives: this is a beautiful quality coat - well made and a great neutral color. However - it was incredibly bulky! Bought it in my usual size and the shoulders & arms fit great, but it was like an A-line tent from there down. You could have fit 2 of me in the body of the coat. No wonder they show it tightly belted in the photos!

Love this coat. Great quality and style details.
Definitely a wide A-line cut. I had 2 go down 2 sizes from my normal jacket size…but I am choosing t0 wear it not using the belt as I am heavy in the middle. If using belt you may only have to go down 1 size.
