Demmi Platform Wedge Slide Sandal (Women)

I had high hopes for this sandal. Even with a discount it is pricey for a slide, but what sold me was the Italian made. I am from Europe and am familiar with Italian shoes, the leather is usually of a high quality and buttery soft. While the suede strap is soft, it digs into my toes and top of my foot. Then, they are much wider than expected (I have narrow feet), normally Italian shoes are slimmer. This was a second disappointment. My toes slide forward and look ridiculous sliding off the front of the platform. And this is my correct size. Lastly, the platform feels more plastic than rubber, the sole does not have a solid traction as I expected. It is so disheartening some Italian brands are marked up so high, when in reality these would cost $50 in Europe. No kidding. These are going back, not worth the $150 price tag.
