Coral Isle Cotton Gauze Peasant Blouse

I ordered both the Island Gauze Peasant Top in size S in both white and black. Had to size down to XS. The black fit a little tighter thru bust than the white did (in both sizes XS and S) so I opted for the white in XS and returned the black. It's a peasant top, which means the sleeves are oversized; however, there was way too much sleeve fabric for me and I ended up having the sleeves altered so more a regular vs oversized fit. Both the XS and S fit the same in the bust, with difference between sizes in shoulders, sleeves and length. I gave an overall rating of 4 instead of 5 of the spacing of the buttons. There really needs to be at least 5 or 6 buttons on this top for it lay and wear with movement properly. The top isn't tight on top but the top button can open easily and I don't like the gap between the 1st and the 2nd button so I use a safety pin to ensure secure coverage.

Sleeves are outsized for the rest of the blouse which is already a bit baggy (yes, I bought the right size). There is gap-osis between the top two buttons. If you opened the top button, you would need to go braless or wear a deep cut bra. Not a bad thing but not what I wanted. The fabric is heavy and would probably be too warm for 80+ degrees. I live in the desert, and it is already 90+ so this top did not work.
