Suncare Classic Sunscreen Spray Fragrance-Free Broad Spectrum SPF 50

I had a horrible allergic reaction to this product. If you look online, it seems to be pretty common. Not sure what I am allergic to but it's very painful. Do a spot test first.

I've received this as a complimentary for a review. The COOLA Sunscreen Spray is one of those sunscreens that’s easy to use but not perfect. I love that it’s actually clear, no white cast, no weird streaks, just a lightweight mist that feels nice on the skin. It’s not greasy, which is a huge plus, and it dries down pretty quickly without feeling sticky. Reapplying is super easy since it sprays evenly, and it doesn’t leave that heavy sunscreen feel. That being said, the nozzle can get a little finicky, and sometimes I feel like I have to spray more than I should to get good coverage. Also, while I appreciate the fragrance-free part, it does have a bit of that typical sunscreen smell, just not as strong. Overall, it’s a solid option if you want something lightweight and invisible, but for the price, I wish the spray function was a little better

This was recommended to me a couple of years ago but I can no longer buy it here at home so I'm happy that I can get it via Nordy's with free shipping. I saw several reviews about allergic reactions I would like to add that I have bad allergies/sensitive skin and this does not bother me at all especially the fragrance free one.

Now that it is getting warmer in NYC, I have been reaching for this sunscreen every single day. I run for exercise and walk everywhere, so I need something that is lightweight, non-greasy, and easy to reapply. This checks all the boxes. The spray application is super convenient, and it absorbs quickly without leaving a white cast or sticky residue. I also love that it is packed with antioxidant-rich ingredients like red raspberry seed oil and prickly pear extract, which help nourish my skin while protecting it. It does not clog my pores or feel heavy, even on humid days. Plus, it is fragrance-free and reef-friendly, which makes me feel good about using it. This has officially become a staple in my daily routine. Whether I am heading out for a run or just running errands, I know I am protected without having to deal with a thick, greasy sunscreen. I like that this sunscreen has SPF 50, which is the basic requirement for proper sun protection. The fact that it’s fragrance-free is a huge plus since I prefer my skincare products without unnecessary scents. It does what it’s supposed to do—protects my skin—but it’s not as effortless as I hoped. Even though it’s a spray, I still have to rub it in to get an even application and make sure I don’t miss any spots. It doesn’t just magically settle evenly on the skin, so if you’re thinking of just spraying and going, that’s not really the case. Also, I personally don’t love spray sunscreens because it’s too easy to inhale the mist, which isn’t the most pleasant experience. I have to hold my breath while applying, and even then, I sometimes feel like I’m breathing it in. It works fine, but if I had to choose, I’d still go for a lotion or gel sunscreen over a spray.

I’m a fragrance free kind of person so this sunscreen had caught my eye. I don’t like lotions or honestly have time to do it as I’m busy chasing two toddlers around. The spray went on nice and coated in one application. I rubbed it in and could see the layer still (included photos). There was a small fragrance but nothing specific, a light light scent that wasn’t overwhelming and didn’t last past a few minutes. The texture was smooth and even though I could see the difference on my skin I didn’t feel it. Definitely lightweight and easy to apply. Unfortunately or fortunately I don’t burn in the sun but I do like to protect my skin so having this on while at the park gave me reassurance and I look forward to using it all summer long. I definitely will be getting more when it runs out. Ingredients didn’t make me faint either. I would say to give it a try, no reactions or issues- even when handling my super sensitive 8 month old with it on me.
