These are NOT the traditional Converse Jack Purcell leather sneakers. They're now made in China, and they no longer have the cork insoles, the blue contrast stripe on the toe (the groove for it is still there), or the blue soles. But the deal-breaker is the noise from these new ribbed grey rubber sole that squeaks like fingernails on a chalkboard on any solid surface. It's almost impossible to walk through a room that has a tile, stone, or concrete floor without squeaking at least a few times. And the noise is so loud, you're guaranteed to stop conversations and turn heads. Not really the kind of attention I want, but if you're into that sort of thing then these may be the perfect sneaker for your. /s

The shoe looks great...but you have to get your sizes together...this is the second pair of shoes I got with the wrong size. Your post said 11.5 womans and 10 mens...But it was backwards online...so it was too big...it was a 11.5 mens and 10 womans...So please for every one fix this! I returned.

Bought these true to size but I think I still could size down one half like Nordstrom recommends. Disappointingly, the quality of Jack Purcells got worse. E.g. no embroidery on tongue, thinner tongue, no metal aglets, non functional vent holes, cheaper insole. General cost cutting. However, I would still recommend the shoe.

I love this shoe its great looking and comfy I bought them PRIMARILY to wear for the summer with shorts, but found out they also look great with Jeans. I NORMALY wear size 9 mens and after reading the reviews I ordered them in 9 and when they arrived they wear to small,so I ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit PERFECT. I also have a very wide foot and was nervous that they would be to tight, they were snug but after a couple of days wearing them they "BROKE" in and fit just fine

My husband loved how they looked so much that he started bustin’ out dance moves the first time he put them on. He loves the bright white. I love that with the leather, he can keep them cleaner longer than the fabric. Great buy!
