So my true size is an 8 but I normally get a 7.5 in Converse since they tend to run a half size large. These did not run large. I have feet that are on the wider side so the 7.5 in these were both too narrow and too small. I had to go up a whole size to 8.5, which fit perfectly. The boots are super comfortable to walk in and it looks great with several different outfits. Also it is quite cozy with the fleece lining. But I would recommend sticking with your usual size and if your feet are on the wider side then go up a half size.

Looking for a waterproof hiking footwear for a trip. Encountered this item and specs were just what I’m looking for, fit to size, comfortable, versatile and aesthetically appealing based on reviews. Although it met all my requirements, I was still skeptical since I found it to bulky for my style, heavy for travel and the color I wanted was not available. After months of debating whether to return it or not, decided to bring it in my travel and boy, it did not disappoint. It is one of the best buy shoe ever. Very comfortable, easy to wear and clean and versatile. Worn it for mountain activities and for dressier outings. The color Papryrus is just beautiful . Now I’m contemplating to get another pair in darker brown. Overall satisfied. Felt like wearing regular sneakers.

I wore these for several hours today, and despite not much arch support, they would probably work well for a day's walking around. Not sure if you could submerge up to your ankles, but they're made well and would work on a rainy day. I bought my usual size (7) and they were not too big, so I wouldn't size down.
