Chuck Taylor® All Star® 70 Low Top Sneaker

I am in my 60’s these were around when I was a teen. I tried 4 pairs in the same size because 1st pair something was sticking into the back of my heal., next one the tongue of the shoe was messed up and pressed into my foot at top part of tongue, next pair felt good walked in them around the store. I bought that pair at 90.00. When at home this weekend I walked around and started to feel pain in the small toe area and here and there on other parts of foot. The stitching inside the shoe is so rough i believe it’s that. I’m going to continue to wear them around my house for a week or so -maybe the need to be broken in. I may return I definitely feel they are way over priced. We will see and if things get better I’ll update review the 2 is for looks Also check to see were they are made Too many inconsistencies

Nicely structured, comfortable, and great for daily wear.

I’ve been wearing Chuck Taylor’s for years. They are the best sneakers I’ve ever had.

Bought these thinking they were an upgrade from the All Stars. They differ too much from the all stars; don’t fit the same way. Kind of just wished I had simply bought the standard All Stars.

Better than the classic All Stars I usually get. They have better support and are more comfortable and I like the slightly off-white look. They do run a bit big. I'm usually a size 10 so I got these in a 9.5 and they are still a bit too large. Good shoes!

First off, I love how they look, as I have for more than 50 years. I am perplexed, however, by the small differences in these and my others . . . I like the off-white laces, toe cap and trim, but the toe cap is really shiny compared to my last black ones. And the proportions are different. I like that these do not have a tongue keeper like my last ones did. The oddest thing that they squeak at the heel when I walk. Maybe it's the socks, but I've tried other socks and they all seem to squeak the same in these shoes. Do everyone's squeak and I just didn't notice before? My coworkers enjoy it, and it won't stop me wearing them, but I am curious.

Beautiful, classy sneaker! Absolutely love the fox gloss on this edition. Truly elevates the look.

My daughter likes them. They are of the great quality we expect from Converse. But, please, get your sizes right. I ordered 11's first and they were to big for her. I ordered 10's and they were bigger than the 11's!

My son loves these! He wears size 10 and they fit true to size and are very comfortable. He’s had the high tops previously and likes these low tops even better. I’m sure he’ll be purchasing again when these wear out.

Converse are great but when I opened the box, I saw that some of the threading around the tongue of the shoe had already started to unravel. Minus two stars for manufacturing defects.

I once had a pair of Converse last a decade - and I wore them every single day. I wore these once or twice a week at most and they fell entirely apart in (checks calendar) 17 months. It breaks my heart that I have to just give up on this brand. As much as I hate to sound like a cranky old person , they really just are not the quality they used to be, and with the price differential, are not worth it at ALL.

I loved the shoe but found only one thing I wish would change. I would prefer to have the tongue loop for the strings to go through to help hold the tongue in place. Other than that tiny change, I really love the shoes.
