white is so yesterday
I love these off-white Chucks. Shinier trim than usual pair and not your typical tired white.

I'm sure they're good shoes but
Wore them a couple times and the heel lining tore now I can't wear them without the backs of my ankles getting torn up and cut. I probably got a defective pair but not worth the extra money from a regular chuck Taylor from my experience.

Very comfortable, with a better insole
The 70s version is much more comfortable than the Classic Chuck All Stars. The insole in the 70s has thicker padding. This is my second pair of 70s, purchased in classic black/black/egret. The fit for all All Stars is long and narrow for a given size. I wish I could get a wider version, since I have a high instep and need more room (volume) over the instep for a given size.

Better than my originals
It’s been years since I had a pair of Converse All-Stars in red so I decided to buy a new pair. These seem to be better than my original pair in that they have more support in the soles. The leather patch on the sides brings back some good memories. They fit well and I expect to get some long wear out of them.

The business casual edge everyone needs
Converse are my go to sneaker for any occasion. I can be dressed in a pantsuit and they give just enough to add alittle edge.
There's a pair for every occasion.....Trust!!!!

One big problem
These are definitely better quality than the standard chucks. But one thing that baffles me is how do you not have something as simple as a lace loop on the tongue which normal chucks have. The tongue falls to the side of the shoe constantly. Very disappointed by something that would be such an easy fix
