Quality plummeted
Used to love converse however the quality has plummeted. These high tops used to have a reinforced heel so that they would last longer with wear but I noticed my new pair doesn’t have that when the plastic piece in the heel broken and ripped through the fabric. It hasn’t even been an entire year of me wearing them.

Amazing comfort and quality
Love the 70 High Top Chuck Taylor. Extra soft sole and comfy upper. Every part of the shoe is a step up from the standard Chuck. You won’t be disappointed. I hope they always have this model.

My second pair, because
My old pair of 70's gave up the ghost after 6 loyal years of daily use. They lasted about 2 weeks longer than the shoe strings they came with. I replaced the insoles a couple times. These are very comfortable, BUT I have a narrow foot. I have a pair of red wing boots in 12B that fit great, so Chuck's fit me great. The 70's have more spring in the step, more cushion, and they last a lot longer. Once you break in the upper (because why would you not get high tops?) these fit like a comfortable pair of slippers. The new pair fit just like the old ones, and in about 6 years when the shoe strings break I'll order my next pair.

Probably would be a great shoe but, you do not offer a wide option for this selection. That sucks.

PLEASE BRING BACK WIDE FIT SIZES!
The wide fit Chuck 70 are S-tier!!! The original sizing is too narrow in the toe box, and if you size up, the get clown shoe-ish real quick, but the wide fit are absolutely perfect. Please bring them back in size 10.5 (and other larger sizes for those that need them!) Thank yoU!
