Invisible layer - pleasantly surprised
I compared this Commando Whisper Tank with Halogen No Show camisole. They looked like similar products online, and they looked similar in person in terms of fabric. After trying them both under a very lightweight and slightly too-sheer knit top, this Commando Tank won by a landslide. It is more intelligently designed for my purposes. I ordered both in the smallest size (size S), because I typically wear size XS in tops (size 32B bra, 5'2" 107 lbs). The Halogen No Show camisole fit me with a slight cling, while this Commando Tank is body skimming but with no cling, slightly loose. I thought that the relative looseness would look baggy as a layer, but the opposite is true--the effect is sleek so that no lumps or bumps show through, plus the plain tank straps smooth over my bra straps. In comparison, the cling of the Halogen camisole seemed to emphasize bulges, and the thin adjustable camisole straps multiplied the bra strap effect. I love how the Commando Tank does not have a hemmed bottom, so that it doesn't show through when tucked into dressy trousers. The fabric is thin enough not to add bulk and sleek enough so that other layers do not cling. It seems well-made.

If you want a sheer see through tank go for it.
I thought this was the cotton seamless tank that I bought last year and it's like a tank top of the same material my mother would wear for her slip for her skirt in the 80's. Very sheer and see-through. Very light weight if that's what you're looking for.

Worth Every Penny
I purchased this tank 6 years ago and it's still going strong. During the winter time I probably wear it 2-3 times a week. I wash it in a lingerie bag on delicate and let it air dry. It has held up better than any other camisole, ever. I typically wear it under my cashmere sweaters but is great for under anything. Not bulky at all and the laser edges don't show. This is a great purchase.

commando whisper tank
Upon taking this out of the package, I thought it was odd and tiny (kinda like thick pantyhose material). I wore it to church under a sheer shirt, and it worked perfectly. And it doesn't ride up. The main reason that I hate camisoles, they typically ride up. I would definitely recommend this. I am a size 4-6, 5'7" 140lb athletic build and I have the s-m.

great camisole
THis is a great nude tank to wear under your dressy sheer tops. It is very lightweight, easy care and it has nice straps that don't fall off.

soft, comfortable, good fit
I've been looking for a camisole to replace the Calvin Klein tank style I've been wearing for years. The Whisper tank works. It is undetectable under tops and sweaters, fabric is soft, virtually seamless, and comfortable. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I think the armholes are cut a little too close. I bought the sm/med in black, I'm 5' 2", 120 lbs, and the fit is close but not tight, which is great -- I didn't want any compression or shaping in the fabric and fit. If you're looking for something to layer that provides a little softness and warmth against the skin, this is for you. I'm going to buy a few more.

Perfect layer
This is the perfect layer under white or sheer tops/blouses. I love that you can't see the seams and there is no bulky strap over the shoulder. I'm a medium 34B and chose the M/L. Nice fit without being tight.
