Matte Footless Tights

I just tried these on expecting them to be way too tight, too see through, too all kinds of things. I'm just not usually a fan of tights, but I needed this pair to wear with a certain dress. Out of the package, I thought omg, I'm never going to be able to get these over my knees, let alone over my behind, but turns out they are very stretchy and not only was it fine, the snugness made the fit more flattering and gave good control. The fabric feels nice and velvety, not scratchy and it doesn't seem like it's going to snag too easily. No, they're not 100% opaque, maybe like 85% opaque, but without actually wearing a pair of LEGGINGS, it would be hard to find a pair of tights that you can't at least see a little through at the knees. Opaque tights are not, by definition, guaranteed to never show through at all. Which brings me to my last point... the reviews on this item and on the rest of the tights in this department alarm me a bit. People need to learn the difference between tights and leggings- they are not synonymous. I would never dream of wearing these tights with just a top- they are cousins of pantyhose, not pants. Leggings are actual stretch pants that you can't see through (hopefully) no matter what the size. Tights are just thick pantyhose and require some modesty and adequate coverage of the bottom. So pay attention to the title and description of the items and order and write reviews accordingly. To give this item a bad review because you thought you could wear tights with just a shirt isn't fair. If that's how you feel, you ordered the wrong item and you're really looking for LEGGINGS.
