Classic Tailored Slip

I needed a slip to go under my more sheer summer dresses. This had good reviews and I like the quality of the brand in general. But honestly...it is just a slip...very similar to what you might find at Target for $15. It has no structure but is also quite clingy. I am typically a size 2 or 4 in dresses and the S/M is still clingy at my hips. Which is fine I guess...no one really sees it. I needed a slip asap so I took the tags off and kept it. But I wouldn't do the same if I were you.

I didn't care for the material or the fit of this slip. I'm 5'4, 130, muscular, 35.5 inch hips, 31 inch waist, 38 inch chest and the medium / large was tighter than I wanted. The material was not as smooth / silky as I wanted either. I personally felt the price was definitely too high for the material / fit. I can see how this slip would work for some people, it just didn't work for my needs. The nude color is a nice, natural looking color -- not too orangey.

I bought this to wear under dresses for work. I am a middle school teacher and some dresses are too thin and I feel more comfortable with a second layer between my body and the outside world. I always wear tights so this keeps this slip from riding up. If I didn't wear tights under the dress I am pretty sure the slip would ride up and bunch up under the dress. The tights provide friction that keeps the slip in place. Over all, I am very satisfied. It does the job!

If you are looking for the perfect slip to wear under any dress, this is it! So buttery soft and yet, it's absolutely opaque...no see through. I'd read a few reviews before my purchase and the price was more than I would have spent for a slip, but it's definitely worth the extra money. I really like the fact that the slip doesn't creep up under a form- fitting dress. Get it!!!

Going Commando never felt so good. This was an expensive buy for me--I have never paid almost $90 for a slip in my life! But I have found that with lingerie, it is worth investing extra in a truly top-quality undergarment. It pays for itself in comfort, great fit, and repeated wearings. I have several sheer dresses that I have rarely worn because in the sticky Los Angeles summers, they cling to my backside, meaning I have to pull the dress away from my butt and thighs every single time I get up or sit down. The beauty of this slip is that it is slim and form-fitting so it adds no bulk to my sheath dresses. The deep scoop neck and spaghetti straps mean I can wear it even under my sundresses. I have noticed that this slip adds a layer of warmth, which is great in my air-conditioned office, but not so great on the fairgrounds in August. My only caveat is the lack of a full range of sizes: where are the size large-X-large and 2X-large for my female friends and colleagues? I am 5'9" and 145 pounds, so the medium-large fits me perfectly, but women who are four inches shorter and 40 pounds heavier would be out of luck. They deserve the chance to own such a great, all-purpose slip in a size that fits them. Lastly, I bought the black slip, but I plan to buy the beige one too when finances permit. One thing I have learned about shopping over the years: when you find a perfect item for you, buy in multiples.
