Double Take Bandeau

Let me start by saying I have yet to find a strapless bra that is perfectly comfy. That said, this one is the closest I’ve found. Fabric is light (no lining, so consider the top you wear it with - headlights, ahem!), and the stretch isn’t binding anywhere. I was amazed at the comfort when I first tried it on (bra size 38C, got the medium/large in this). I subtracted one star for two reasons: 1) a strapless bra will always have me worried that it might slip too much (not exactly supportive for a C cup, but I intend to wear it with looser tops so that shouldn’t be an issue), and 2) the elastic at the top front doesn’t dig in, but it creates a slight indentation in my chest/top of boobs that is detectable through tighter tops and not the most flattering - but it’s probably something I’d notice more than anyone else, as I’m so picky about strapless bras, and smaller-chested ladies probably won’t have this issue). Comfort-wise, this is as close to perfect as I’ve found. And believe me, I’ve been looking! See my review of the Spanx Undie-tectable for details on a close second.

Expectations were not high, but this is great. It is comfortable. I’m a 32B, plenty of support for me. It’s reasonably thick and compressive enough to take care of mild headlights. It’ll be a nice addition to summer tops that I would be uncomfortable going bra less, but uncomfortable in my usual strapless bra. Good purchase.

This strapless bra is a tube style with an attractive elasticized back and a gently shaped front which could be worn with inserts. I was looking for a more natural profile as many strapless bras are overly padded and structured or the lace texture shows through. This is useful as relaxed fit. Ultimately I chose a slightly more structured strapless bra, because it was a better fit under my wedding guest top.
