ComfortStretch Underwire Back Smoothing T-Shirt Bra

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned and enjoyed my original ThirdLove T-shirt bras for several years. When it came time to replace them, I was pleased to see the updated smoothing version with a wider band, as the narrower band on the original style would occasionally shift out of place with wear. This seemed like a thoughtful and promising improvement. I ordered two bras in my usual size, 34D ½. Upon arrival, they initially appeared to fit well; however, I noticed that the straps sit quite high on the shoulders, almost resembling a halter-style fit. When I adjusted the straps to rest more naturally on my shoulders, a noticeable gap formed at the back where the band meets the straps. After comparing these to my original T-shirt bras, I found that the straps on the smoothing version are positioned closer together, which seems to contribute to the fit issue. This was disappointing, especially given my positive experience with the original design. For reference, I am approximately 140 lbs; it is possible that this style may fit differently on a curvier frame. At this point, I am undecided about whether I will keep these bras, but I wanted to share my experience to help inform others considering this style.

I have struggled with cup gaps and thin bands that made me feel squished and uncomfortable for so long, but this bra changed the game. For the first time ever, I don’t dread putting my bra on in the morning! I’ll be a lifelong customer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The one thing about Thirdlove is they are consistent!! I love that. Regardless of bra type, stay with your size. I thought I’d need smaller in this size to better hold me. Nope! Lesson learned and more reason I love this brand! Perfect as always!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The feel of this bra is very comfortable and I like the style. However, while I wear a 36H in all ThirdLove bras (lace, minimizers, etc. ), there is a size difference with this particular bra - the 36H was stoo small in the cups and I was overflowing. I wish there was a ThirdLove closer to me, so that I could try a sister size and find the right fit.
