Weekend Adventure II Long Jacket

I appreciate that the sleeve length fully covers my arms beyond my wrists, that it has snaps at the wrist to help prevent water getting up my arms beyond, that the jacket’s overall length covers me when I sit, and that the hood fits in a way that allows for full visibility (even peripheral). I am 5’6” with a 43” waist and 47” bust; I ordered a XXL and it fits well with room for a cardigan underneath. A plus size 2X would also have fit, but less fitted/flattering.

I appreciated the stylish look for city wear. The length meant extra comfort hiking the very windy Fife Coastal Path. Very happy with my purchase, especially the great sale price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this jacket. I ordered for recent fall trip to Maine. It is huge. In all other Columbia jackets, I wear a S. This one is huge. The sleeves are so long and the button doesn't really help in securing them. I am debating exchanging, but am now running short on time to receive it before I leave. I do also agree with other reviewers and wish it had some sort of liner.

It is completely waterproof and kept me bone-dry even in heavy downpours yet it remains incredibly lightweight and breathable.The design is stylish with an internal cinch waisband which allows me adjust the for a more tailored look. The cPolor that looks exactly like the pictures online. I especially love the mid-thigh length—it covers my tush perfectly, offering extra protection from wet seats and windy chills without restricting my movement. As a huge bonus, it is extremely packable, making it the perfect jacket to throw into a carry-on for travel. Negative - The sleeves are SO LONG! Columbia what's up with the spider arms on all your womens coats in the past 5 years? If you are looking for a functional, flattering, waterproof and lightweight rain jacket, I highly recommend this one ... even if it has sleeves fit for a spider
