Perfect comfort with style Icelandite II Parka

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Icelandite II Parka because the description was perfect for my trip in six months. We will be traveling during the winter months and I needed a heavy duty parka for comfort plus style. I love that the omniheat liner is just about the full length. The fleece lined collar is soft and perfect for keeping out the cold. Another great feature is that is has four pockets! The faux fur trim on the hood is also removable. Finally it has an adjustable belt.

Beautiful

This is so comfortable and flattering. The jacket is kind of heavy (it doesn’t bother me), but that’s to be expected, given that it’s insulated and made for cold and rough weather. The pockets rest perfectly, as do the thumb hole sleeves. I love love love that the belt is buttoned under the loops. I didn’t realize that until I tried the coat on. Belted jackets are my favorite, but it’s a pain when the belt slides off or gets all twisted. Love this feature. I wish more jackets were like it, including the belted rain jackets. The hood fur is thick and has good coverage. The only downside is that I found the coat to be large everywhere except for the sleeves. I have a 37 inch bust, 27 inch waist, and 38 inch hips. The small was very loose, even with my 34DD chest. I suppose this will fit well with thick sweaters. Overall beautiful. I want to buy it in the green too.
