What it is: An all-powerful, all-mineral skin shield powered by EnviroScreen Technology that provides total protection in one convenient, on-the-go application.

What it does: This 100% non-chemical brush-on sunscreen is designed to be worn alone or over your makeup.

How to use:
1. OPEN: Remove brush cap, pull back the sleeve and remove and discard the rubber band. Put cap back on.

2. ACTIVATE: With the cap still on, hold the brush with cap facing down and tap with moderate pressure on a hard surface 6-8 times. Then remove cap, run your finger through the bristles and sweep the brush in small circular motions using moderate pressure on the back of your hand. Repeat as needed until powder flows consistently. After initial activation, tap the brush cap down into palm before each use to ensure consistent powder flow and even application.

3. APPLY: Using circular motions, sweep directly onto bare skin or over makeup. Apply generously across your face, ears and neck. Two complete passes over the face are recommended to ensure full coverage. If applying directly over a moisturizer, primer or liquid foundation, ensure products have fully set before applying Sunforgettable®. Reapply at least every two hours for continued protection.

There’s a trick to making the powder come out

This is a must have for re-applying sunscreen! I don’t worry so much in the winter, but I do make sure to reapply every few hours during the summer months, on vacation, or anytime I’m going to have sun exposure. This is also great over makeup. Most of the negative reviews mention not being able to get the powder to come out... you have to “prime” the brush when you get it by tapping it upside down (sometimes pretty aggressively) until you see the powder coming out. This can take a minute or two of continuous tapping before it starts flowing. (I actually like this feature because I know no powder is being wasted until I’m ready to use it.) Once you get it flowing after the initial use, it comes out easily!!! SPF 50 and water resistant!

Maybe great...if yours isn't defective like mine.

I have heard great things about this item, so bought this instead of replacing my usual Peter Thomas Roth one that is similar. What a disappointment. For $65 I can't even get anything out of it. I have tapped it, shaken it vigorously, everything--the most that comes out is a tiny amount that will not cover my forehead let alone my whole face. If you get one that works, it's probably great. I'd try it before leaving the store to make sure you don't have a defective one.

Great for reactive skin

This product is amazing for reactive skin, those that break out or have rosacea. I’ve used every dermatologist recommended product that isn’t supposed to react with my skin, I must be that one in a hundred. I always got red, flaky, bumps, itchy. Colorscience is the one and only. I brush it on over a clean face, and throughout the day as necessary. It’s easy to carry with me, no mess or tsa requirements. I’ve gifted this to my mom/MIL who are horrible about sunscreen. The brush needs to be primed, it’s simple. Instructions are included with the brush but honestly go to the colorscience website, watch the video. I’ve never had one that didn’t work.

Doesn't work

I was so excited to use this when it arrived but was disappointed when I couldn't get the powder to come out. I even went to the makeup department to see if the ladies there could make it work, but no success. I ended up returning it.

Changed My Life

I've been using Colorscience Sunforgettable for the last 10 years and have found the brush to be better than any of the other powders out there. I've never had an issue with the product not coming out. I'd guess all of the negative reviews are for defective brushes. Super convenient for reapplying sunscreen on your face over your makeup and even powdering the part in your hair for a little protection when you don't have a hat. I think this sunscreen is a lifesaver (literally) because it makes applying sunscreen so easy.

Usually a good product

I have used Sunforegettable sunscreen for years. I have never had an issue until this purchase. The powder will not come out into the brush . I contacted Nordstrom’s and they are sending me a replacement which will hopefully work correctly .
