Collette Small Hoops

These earrings are quite pretty, but I rated these a 4 out of 5 only because of the way the earring is secured in the back. These have a round post that can be difficult to handle and to secure the earring, and it can feel securely closed when it is not (and thus fall off). This is the second pair of Jenny Bird earrings with this round type of closure and I ended up using better post closures from another pair of earrings on those.

I love these earrings. I thought they looked like fish hooks or a dying crane, but in reality, they don't look like either. The silver is really beautiful and gives an architectural look. My only criticism is the same as others -- the ball backs are difficult to use. In fact, because they are round little balls, if you drop one, forget it. It rolls away and disappears forever.

These earrings are everything I had hoped they would be: perfect size, not too heavy, and wearable for any occasion. After reading other reviews I was afraid they would be loose and prone to falling off, but these are just fine. Another Jenny Bird in my collection, another happy customer.
