Classic and elegant
Ordered this shoe for a winter wedding in the black. I wear between a size 7 1/2 and 8, so based on other reviews, ordered the 8. The 8 was too large so returned for the 7 1/2. Fits great. Lovely and elegant shoe.

Fragile leather
I am a HUGE fan of Cole Haan- it is truly the only brand I buy to wear to work (I am a on my feet alot). I bought these to replace a prior pair that I have LOVED (very similar in appearance). I have worn the new pair 3 days at most and they already look so beat up! One day I had to walk across a parking lot in a light rain, and it literally ruined them such that now there is a dark discoloration on the toe. Additionally the leather already looks very scratched and worn. Otherwise they are really comfortable for heels and I like the way they look. But given they already look years older I would definitely NOT buy these again. I tried to return to Nordstrom (I usually never return 'worn' merchandise but I honestly thought the shoes were defective and didn't have proper protective coating) and they explained that Cole Haan is using a "softer leather" now and this is the downside. I think this should be highlighted to customers who are used to Cole Haan being a shoe that holds up.
It makes me very cautious about buying Cole Haan, or at least I will look for ones that aren't made of 'softer leather'!

Very Uncomfortable
These shoes are beautiful and look nice on. Perfect kitten heel! However, they're the most uncomfortable shoes I ever owned. Not sure if they run narrow or not, but the front of the show painfully cuts into my feet when walking. A larger size would probably fall off. Wore them twice this week hoping the second time would be better, but the shoes are very stiff and just don't give. Will give them one more try, but I likely wasted my money on these.

Pointy Toe Pump
Needed a classic black pump for work. Ordered these online. Fit true to size but the width was off. Very uncomfortable on my foot. Quality was okay. These are going back.

Comfortable, stylish, well-made
Love these so much! My husband got them for me for Christmas, and my mom loved them so much we got her a pair too! They are comfortable and stylish. I needed a little time to break them in. On the first day I wore them I taught three classes and my feet were sore by the end, but after a couple of wears with fewer hours at a time I am getting more comfortable in them. They are a classic - I love the kitten heel height and silhouette. I recommend it to anyone looking at the millions of black pump options out there. Cole Haan shoes have never let me down as a person who works on her feet all day.
