Perfect loafer
I love this black loafer and how the patent leather is crinkled and shiny. Also, I like how the top, upper part of the shoe covers more of your foot. I purchased the C width because Cole Haan’s tend to run a little narrow for me and I end up buying a half size larger to compensate for the width. So when I saw the C width I took a chance and they fit perfect in my usual size 8. I don’t feel they will need much breaking in, if at all. Great, lovely shoe, especially at an Anniversary sale price :)

Not soft enough
These shoes fit perfectly and are beautiful but have left my heels with blisters. They cannot be worn without socks. I'm hoping they improve over time but very disappointing that a shoe of this cost/quality isn't comfortable out of the box. There are also sewn thread on the underside that rub the top of your foot. Just hoping the whole shoes gets softer as socks are not practical with most of my work pants.

wide fits my wide foot but no support
Nice looking, quality shoes. Wide fits my wide feet. However I returned these because they have no arch support and not enough padding on the ball od the foot. Ecco loafers work better for me for these concerns

Comfortable
I normally wear a 7 in dress shoes and these fit in length and width (normal width). Note that if you walk on carpet, tile or hardwood, it can be slippery and a grip stick-on for the shoe bottom will help. For reference, I wear 7.5 for athletic shoes (Nike, Adidas, On) and 7 for dress shoes.

very narrow
These shoes are so cute, but wow—very narrow, even across the middle. I first bought the 9.5 (I’m usually a 9), but it felt too long. So I went down a whole size, and then I could barely get my foot in. Maybe it’s the patent crinkle leather—it’s pretty stiff right now. I’m hoping they’ll loosen up with a little wear. The heel is tiny, the padding is minimal, but honestly… they still make me smile when I look at them.

Different shoe textures
I ordered the wide width version of this show which was a great fit. I love the classic look of this loafer, except the shoes didn't match. The left shoe was smooth patent and the right shoe was crinkled patent. It was very noticeable so sadly I had to return.
