I LOVE LEATHER!!!!!!!
This jacket is amazing!!!! It's so buttery soft!!!!!!! Even the employee I bought it from said how nice of a jacket it was! He would know too because before I bought it from him, he was trying on another leather jacket at the store! This jacket is so soft that I sometimes even wear it to bed!

How did this pass quality control?
I ordered this jacket from the Rack Online.
My mistake.
The smell was horrible.
New leather should have a nice, new leather smell.
But this jacket smelled like the animal hide had been rotting in the sun for weeks, then soaked in urine during the tanning process.
The leather was creased in places, dry in others and overall of very poor quality.
I think that Nordstrom Rack is selling merchandise online that no retailer would dare display in a brick-and-mortar store.
These are the jackets that failed quality control.
I will not purchase from the Rack online again.

lambskin leather jacket
Jacket sizing was not true to size. The sleeves were very tight and was not able to bend elbows.

PERFECT!!
Purchased the black coat at a local Nordstrom prior to buying the Java one online. Both are exactly what I've been searching for over the last few weeks: silky smooth lambskin, shirt collar, casual and business attire, and affordable (both were on sale for 50% off!!).
Fits true-to-size.
Warm, but lightweight. Doesn't weigh you down like some heavy leather coats have a tendency do.
Fine craftsmanship, as can be expected with most Cole Haan products.
Highly recommend!!

Superb Leather Jacket
I love this jacket and could not be more pleased with the fit, weight, feel and style. It is absolutely outstanding alongside any other leather clothing I have owned...with the possible exception of a leather sport coat and hat my wife bought for me in Tuscany...both of which equal the Cole-Haan.
An added bonus was/is the always MORE THAN outstanding Nordstrom service. There was a mis-understanding during the purchase of the jacket. The Nordstrom rep resolved it immediately and to my great satisfaction. I have been a thirty year Nordstrom customer going back to living in Anchorage. I have NEVER been disappointed...the service is spectacular.

Watch sizing
Beautiful jacket, but seems to run small. I wear Large in sport and outwear jackets, but the Large was both too tight across the chest and too short in arm length. The local Nordstrom store was able to exchange it for an XL and it fits beautifully.
