Finally, a great travel bag.
I travel a lot. What I've been looking for is a slim profile bag that can hold my laptop and electronics. A zip top is something I was looking for and not finding. The time my boarding card got sucked from my open-top slim tote and stuck in the x-ray scanner - not great. This has several features that work. First, it's not too heavy. But it *is* leather. I tried a Herschel bag and that didn't work. Second, it zips. See aforementioned security issue. Third, there's a small pocket for my laptop. My 15" MacBook Air slips and fits perfectly. Lastly, a huge bonus is the panel that slips over a suitcase handle. Also everything zips - no more dropping my passport or documents when I get bumped. Just yesterday I walked from terminal A to Z at Frankfurt. All the times I've done that, this would have been a bonus. I was on the fence a good three months on this one. Bought two other bags that didn't work. Have about 5 others that don't work. Don't do what I did. Get this one first.

Looks cheap, more like $50-$75 bag
I have been looking at this bag for a month or so. Finally ordered…disappointed at the lack of quality.
It looks more orange in person and the details are just not nice enough to be a $300 bag.

gorgeous multifunction bag, BUT
This could have been a knock out. Has all of the elements to be successful, but did anyone at Cole Haan check the straps?! The hardware that tightens/loosens the straps is so loose itself that the straps let themselves out to full length with barely any movement. The bag is also pretty heavy while empty. Can’t imagine how heavy it might be when full. Not the right bag for touring internationally, unfortunately.
