Cobalt Slip-On Sneaker (Women)

Have been looking for an easy slip-on canvas shoe and thought I'd found it. It is cute but is too big in too many places. I ordered my normal size for Vionic, and length-wise they were a little long but worked okay there. The heel, however, slipped with every step, annoying but I could have gotten over that. The break across the top of the foot, though, was the deal-breaker. It was too wide/a little too much canvas(???) and would make an audible popping noise and a distracting feel with every step, not uncomfortable exactly but the feel was just a "not quite right" feeling that brought my attention to the shoe while walking. I hate that I will have to send them back, but at this price-point, it don't want to hope that eventually it will break-in enough to not keep happening. I will say, I wore (and purchased to wear) them without socks. With socks, this may not have been an issue.
