Defective clasp!
I bought this bag as a gift to myself for Christmas 2021! But because it was sort of a patriotic-themed bag, I put it away until summer time. Then, I wound up forgetting all about it until just before the Fourth of July! I took it along on my weekend-away trip for that holiday, thinking how nice it was I remembered the bag in time. But the clasp that holds the two sides of the bag together was completely and totally non-functional from the get-go! I cannot even tell if the clasp is a magnetic one or a mechanical one (looks vaguely mechanical but my husband thinks it is a magnetic one), but it simply does not work AT ALL! For a bag that cost almost $500, you'd think somebody at Coach might have *tested* it just a bit before it got shipped out of the factory. Sheesks! I'm returning it, NOT exchanging it!
