Eme Leather Crossbody Bag

Gorgeous bag, yet practical and classic. Received the elm color and it is so sophisticated! This bag is light in weight, and more of a medium size. The adjustable cross body strap is substantial, no scrawny strap digging into your shoulder like many handbags. This is the COACH bag of old, well made and understated. Not dripping with branding and gaudy metal. This is a structured bag, which I like since I can stand it in the closet even when full, or prop it against the car seat. The zip closure on top is another plus, although mine had to be lubricated with a little candle wax.

BUT, when I picked it up in store it basically came incomplete. The cute Coach tag was missing. If it wasn’t for this snafu, I would have kept it. I’m tall so at almost 5’9” where a crossbody sits on my body is important to me. And it was perfect when I tried it on. But for the price, I need a handbag to come complete with all of advertised the pieces. That being said, Coach makes their pebbled leather very um, pebbled. I think this would look even more chic if it was smooth leather. Still a great crossbody!

I love Coach, but this was a miss. The bag was enormous on me (I'm 5'4"). The pebbling is very large and, in my opinion, makes the bag look cheap. It's a shame because this bag was such a good price, but I had to return. Also the packaging was subpar-it came in a big plastic bag instead of it's own box.

The bag is nice and I would have kept it, but it looked used and it was difficult to close the zipper. I purchased the same bag in a different color and I love it- this bag not so much.

I love everything about this bag. Quality/craftsmanship is classic Coach. The pebble leather makes it seem very durable and resistant (fingers crossed) to scratching. The strap is adjustable and at it’s longest is perfect for my 5’10” height. Speaking of the strap, it’s a thick one (I’m not a fan of the skinny straps). It isn’t heavy which makes it comfortable to wear. Roomy inside for my everyday things (French wallet, makeup bag, and a lot of miscellaneous junk), and two outside pockets, one on each side. One outside pocket has a zipper, and the other pocket on the other side is open for easy access. I highly recommend this bag :)

So cute and I wanted it to work for me. I am trying to downsize my heavy purse to a more manageable one. This purse was impossible to zip.
