Brooklyn 39 Straw Shoulder Bag

I picked this bag up at the store- it came thrown in a clear plastic bag with no dustbag, no manufacturer protection, no stuffing, no tissue wrapping- nothing. It looked like a return or shop-worn. I really debated keeping it because I do love it and the price is fair. However, the bag is available elsewhere and I feel I should not accept a brand new bag I am unhappy with its condition- I ended up returning it on the spot and re-ordering from a competitor. I am not sure why Nordstrom associates treat customers this way- especially online purchases- it was still a chunk of money and the bag should have been presented better. Not like I just bought it from a thrift store and thrown in a garbage bag.

I have been carrying this bag for weeks now and I love how comfortable it is. The straw is surprisingly durable and I have yet to see the straw break yet. I have a reusable water bottle along with my other essentials and it's still comfortable on my shoulder. Ignore the negative stars, this bag is a winner! Great for farmers market and groceries, too. Also for fun beach vacations, as well. Though I won't use it as a beach/pool bag. My only wish is that this bag would have a lining and interior pockets. All-in-all, I highly recommend it.
