Bleecker Natural Grain Leather Shoulder Bag

I have been a Nordstrom customer for 39 years and it feels magical when I get a new purse from them, especially when then take the time and care to package the item carefully. This Coach bag arrived beautifully packaged with a dust bag (as it should). Coach never disappoints with their gorgeous supple leather.

If a customer could request a custom-made Coach bag, the Bleecker Bag is the one I would ask for. I purchased the black natural grain leather. The workmanship is outstanding, it’s the perfect size, holds everything I need without being heavy, the adjustable strap is the perfect width and very comfortable on my shoulder, the leather is fabulous, and being able to wear it crossbody or over the shoulder is a bonus. It’s easy to retrieve the items I need and the matching zip pouch is a delightful gift. This classic beauty should be displayed in a museum! I absolutely love this bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t end up using this bag because it’s larger than I prefer for everyday use. It also doesn’t have an interior zipper pocket, which I personally look for, and instead has a snap pocket. It does come with a removable zip pouch, which is a nice added feature for extra organization. The leather appears to be good quality, which is expected from Coach, and the bag feels well made overall. While it didn’t work for me, it would be a good option for someone who prefers a larger bag with a more open interior.

It is a really relaxed, slouchy style and can be thrown on with just about any outfit, and the rich brown color goes with most of my wardrobe. If you’re someone who likes to zip your bags, this bag might not be for you because it has an open top and the clasp doesn’t do much to secure it. I do wish it was a tiny bit larger so that it could accommodate my 13 inch laptop, but I’ve just been using it for fun stuff instead of work stuff. Things do get lost easily in it since it doesn’t have very many compartments (except for the attached zip pouch it comes with) so I recommend putting a pouch or some kind of organizer in it. The leather feels supple and nice to touch, and I just wish that the leather inside of the bag wasn’t as unfinished — it has a rough feel to it and doesn’t feel as durable or as nice quality as the outside. The adjustable buckle handle is really great because each person can tailor it to the length they want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am freaking obsessed with this bag! Bucket bags are my favorite and Coach has once again proven why they are one of my absolute favorite brands! The leather is so buttery soft and the stitching and hardware feel solid and well-made. I can just tell by how it feels that this bag will hold up over time…and that says a lot because I’m pretty tough on my bags. I KNOW I’ll use this one often because the size is perfect for carrying all my essentials like my iPad, notebook, makeup, and accessories. The bleeker bucket bag also has a super unique long belt style strap that is adjustable up from a shoulder bag and long to wear down low at the hip or even cross body. The strap is nice and wide which is perfect to wear comfortably even when fill it up. Now, I have this bag in the brass/maple which is a beautiful, deep, chocolatey brown…but I’m eyeing some of the other colors and I’ll have to try super hard Not to order at least one more color!
