Caliber Slingback Sandal (Women)

I am a shoe connoisseur and I have owned many beautiful shoes in my lifetime. Now retired, the corporate pumps are high up in the closet and I am looking for casual, beautiful, comfortable shoes. True to the brand name “Cloud”, you feel like you are walking on a cloud, and they are beautiful. I ordered the Yellow/Blue and plan to order in other colors.

I ordered this in size 35 after receiving the size 36 in a different color a few weeks ago. I was really excited to discover this brand - finally a pair of flats which my ultra sensitive feet do not reject immediately! Size 35 does fit me better (I'm US size 5, occasionally size up to 5.5 if the shoes run small or if they're booties where I know I'll be wearing socks). I've only worn them in my apartment so far. They seem more comfortable than most other flats, but the toe boxes are a tad tight - a common problem I have with shoes in general. The color is more silver than pale gold in the picture. Overall this is a rather comfortable pair of flats that is not ugly. I just wish the insoles were in a more neutral color than blue, because the blue makes it feel a bit too casual. This and the narrow toe box were the reasons I docked off one star.

I got this shoe is black with gray elastic. Love the pattern on the black. Cushioned comfy. I did have to use Body Slide on the top of my toes after the first wearing to avoid getting blisters on the tops of the toes. But that did seem to work. The right shoe (my smaller foot) slips off the heel sometimes. Otherwise really like the shoe.
