Aline Bootie

These booties are super cute, however, I don't understand the rave reviews. I purchased these booties in tan. When I received them and opened the box I was thrilled. The leather is soft and the style is exactly what I was looking for. When I slipped them on the fit was perfect. But... when I walked around in them, especially on the hard surfaces in my home, I was very disappointed in the structure of the foot bed. They had a little fleece insole, but there was almost no padding in the soles. They were surprisingly uncomfortable to walk in. I can't imagine walking any distance or on a rough surfaces. Sadly, I returned them. Not a good purchase, especially for the money.

It's so hard for me to find shoes that fit! I bounce between 40 and 41. Size 41 is perfect. These work with pants, leggings or tights. The lining is wool, the leather is soft, the style is distinctive. I bought one pair in red, which makes whatever I'm wearing more interesting. I ordered a second pair in black because it's what I do in those rare instances when I find something to wear that really works.

WOW! I had never heard of Cloud before. I wanted RED booties to wear for the holidays. I picked these, then read the reviews. When I got them, I kept them unopened in the packaging box. The reviews made me think I would return them, and I didn't want to wear them. Well, two days after Christmas I opened them and tried them on! I walked all over, jumped up and down, and my feet were happy! Years of aerobics and wearing high heels ruined my feet, but now I find comfort on the "cloud"!

These boots are so cute and I wanted to love them, but couldn't. The soles are very thin with no support. I was looking for a bit of a more rugged sole (which I'd expect in a boot) with support that I could walk a lot in. This sole felt like I'd feel every little pebble I stepped on through the bottom and they had zero arch support. Also, once on, the boots had a formless, mushy look to them - not crisp looking like in the photo. Disappointed.

I saw the Cloud line while on vacation in Santa Fe and wanted this in red but they didn't have it in my size. I bought the taller version of this bootie in red instead. When I got home I checked Nordstrom and was so happy they carry this line of shoes! I love the bootie so much I bought this one in black. The red is gorgeous - not a bright red. It also looks really good in the navy. I chose black so I could wear with black pants as well as blue jeans. The red looks awesome with either and would look good with browns as well. The booties are warm and very comfortable. I have a lot of foot problems so comfort is the primary factor in choosing shoes or boots. Style is second. This line happily satisfies both for me. As it's European sizing I ordered it in size 40. I normally wear a 9- 9.5 depending on the manufacturer.

Never heard of this brand, but took a chance based on the reviews. So glad I did because these boots are fantastic, cute and REALLY comfortable. Someone compared them to slippers and that's exactly what they feel like. The leather is so soft, and love the shade of red, not too bright and looks great with jeans. I am usually a size 39 but two reviewers said they run a bit small, so I bought the 40. Perfect fit. My toe was at exactly the right place, about a half inch, from the tip of the boot. Yet another plus is that they are 100% made in Portugal, and it shows in the quality. I'll surely be buying more of this brand.
