A great lotion for extra hydration
I really like this lotion. Excellently moisturizes the skin and is used sparingly. I used to use it in the morning after the first stage of foam cleansing.

So sad!
I have used many items in the turnaround line, going back to the original turnaround cream that I got as a sample in a teen magazine. I purchased this, hoping it was the turnaround moisturizer that I had tried out at a store and loved. There was nothing in the description that alerted me to the fact that this isn't really a lotion, but more of a watery goo that just sits on top of my skin and dries to a shiny crust. I am very unhappy with it, and even more unhappy that the amazing turnaround moisturizer seems to be discontinued.

Excellent first impressions
I typically use an acid toner after cleansing, so I've swapped it on days my skin feels stressed with this lotion. It's very thin, but thicker than your average toner or essence, which is odd at first but makes it easy to apply.
You could use your fingers and pat it on, but I prefer to apply some to a cotton pad and sweep that over my face. This leaves my skin hydrated and radiant, without any irritation. It's very refreshing to use, and I'm looking forward to it on hot summer days.
I do follow it with a moisturizer, since I don't believe this is intended to be used as a primary moisturizer. I have oily/combo skin and it is not sufficient on its own, hydration-wise.

Not what I expected
This is not at all what I expected. So the jury is still out. I will give it a try. I loved the other Turnaround Concentrate that I used for years. Why did Clinique have to discontinue it? This is not the same thing and not sure I like the consistency of the lotion.

Good augmenter
I added this step in my routine a few years ago -- after toning and before serums or moisturizers -- and found it's a nice augmenter to my other products (moisturizing, softness, and smoothing). I have really dry skin, and live in a dry climate. I find massaging it into the skin helps absorption, and the bottle lasts a long time.

How is this a lotion?
Clinique, I love your products but marketing this as a lotion was a big letdown. I expected something super moisturising and this was so liquidy and watery it stung a bit and didn't do the trick. I received this as a promotion with purchase so I can't exchange it. I was so sad when I opened the box
