Superfine Liner for Brows Eyebrow Pencil

I used this brow liner for years because I used Clinique and was too complacent to try other brands until I reacted to one of their creams, then all bets were off! While I liked this pencil’s fine line, self sharpening, portability and price, i finally realized the soft, waxy formula didn't last long after I put it on, especially in the heat, and if I wiped my brow, the color was gone. I like to have brow definition and don’t have time during the day for touch ups. I’ve since tried and prefer similar self sharpening brow pencils from MAC and Trish McEvoy because the formulas are better and the products last all day on my skin. One is about the same price, the other pricier than I’d like, but with points, samples, and GWPs, there’s always a way to make it work and try new products. Don't get stuck in a beauty rut!

The claims associated with this pencil are true - it really is "superfine" and lasts all day. I have very oily skin, so this is quite miraculous. It does not feel waxy at all, or dry, for that matter. It has a very smooth application. Deep Brown is a great, natural looking color if you have dark hair. Nobody has ever suspected me of wearing eyebrow liner. This is really an outstanding product.

I bought this a second time by mistake. The color is great. The ease of using it is fine. What I don't like is that is breaks off constantly. I try everything ....just put out a small amount , use very light pressure, it still breaks off all the time. As soon as I used this one I remembered that I bought it before and had the same issue. That's why I wanted to write a review.

This liner clicks up slowly and stays up. No sliding back into the case. It has a very fine, thin pointed tip so easy to make small strokes that look natural. Not like other pencils that sometimes lose their point and flatten to a broader line. Also, it continues to "mark", unlike some pencils. Very good product. I still use a small brush after applying to lightly blend. Highly recommend.

This is a nice idea to have a narrow liner to fill in bare spots but this & other Clinique liners crumble when applied, then you have to smooth out the specks of loose crayon & it can end up uneven. I want just a touch of color here & there building layers till I have enough color, for a soft, subtle effect. This crayon gives too much color by way of stray specks of deep color that have to be smoothed out & spread beyond where you applied. I also bought the wrong color, a dark brown, which turned out too light for my brows which are a grey/black. I have white hair & keep my makeup softly contrasting to the hair color. However with a different color & some practice, this is a good product.
