The formula is safe for skin with rosacea.
How to use: Apply this green-tinted makeup primer in the morning, after cleanser and moisturizer. UV exposure can aggravate redness-prone skin. Daily sun protection is essential.

The Business
This little bottle of green magic means business. I have sensitive, combination, and slightly pink tinted skin. So finding something that #1 provides UV protection #2 doesn’t mess with my skin balance (no breakouts, no excessive oil) and #3 tones down my pinkish/blushing hue makes me intensely happy.
It works as an excellent base for powder or foundation, but I used it solely as my finishing touches when I was scrubbed and dry. It JUST toned down the redness and didn’t leave behind any weird green color.
I would highly recommend this item to anyone who needs a little protection, a little moisture, and a little redness correction.

Great for Rosacea
I reluctantly tried this product, thinking that it would be another product that would irritate my very sensitive skin. However it didn't, and my skin hasn't looked this good in a long time! I have rosacea and have to watch everything that I use on my face. Also, I've tried the moisturizer in this Redness Solutions line, and its excellent as well! If you have sensitive skin with redness issues...you probably will love this line of skincare!

Cheers y’all, I never really liked Clinique and I never really tried any of the products over the years but since I do get some redness in my cheeks I thought I would give this a try, holy crap, it works and it works fast.. the effect Lasted for hours, the scent is quite pleasant and the price was just right. If you have discoloration or redness in your face give this a try.

Not if if you sweat heavily!
I had been using the Smashbox Photo Finish Color Correction Primer Adjust - that's the green tint - after a moisturizing sunscreen. I had hoped to be able to eliminate the sunscreen step by going to the Clinique Redness Solutions Protective Base SPF 15. I got really hot one afternoon running errands and was mortified when I headed into a public restroom to see this primer running down my face in greenish white streaks. That's two big strikes against. If the toning down of the red is running down my face, I suppose the sun protection is too. It was also really greenish white all along my hairline. FYI, I really blended carefully and did not overuse the product. It's just not sweat resistant. All that said, if you don't sweat heavily, the texture is really nice.
