What it is: A silky, long-wearing eyeliner that smudges to a smooth blur of transfer-resistant color.

What it does: The silky eyeliner pencil lines and defines eyes with ease. The long-lasting formula is transfer-resistant, water-resistant and smudge-resistant. The automatic eyeliner pencil twists up, glides on and doesn't need sharpening. The eyeliner features a smudge tool on the opposite end that helps create a variety of looks and the formula gives you 60 seconds for blending and smudging before setting.

How to use: Swivel eyeliner up only 1/8-inch (pencil does not retract to avoid exposing formula to air, which is drying). Line eyes. Use smudging tool on the opposite end to gently smudge color to desired effect. Allow color to set for 60 seconds to ensure transfer-resistance. Recap securely after using to protect the silky formula. Remove with your favorite Clinique eye makeup remover.

Go-to liner

Over the years, as I've aged, I've tried many other higher-end liners (YSL, Laura Mercier, Dior, and Chanel), but I always end up coming back to Clinique Quickliner. The first time I purchased this eyeliner was over 15 years ago, and I remember thinking how much I liked the way it smoothed on without me having to tug or pull on my lid...and it's still the same. I also love that it stays in place all day, with no transfer. I would definitely recommend this eyeliner to anybody looking for a cost-effective, professional looking liner!

poor manufacturing

I was excited to get this new eyeliner… in fact I bought two. It’s not like me to trash a product but this is garbage. It seemed great out of the box because the liner had a nice point, and went on smoothly. Great color! Almost immediately it broke. I twisted the liner up to get more of the product and couldn’t get it back in. And I couldn’t put the cap back on because it would’ve damaged the liner. Kept one and returned the broken one. The one I kept is now not working. Unfortunately, I will not buy this product again.

Goes on smooth with very little smudging

The one thing about eyeliner that drives me crazy is that it always ends up smudging on to the top of my eyelid after I put it on. What's worse is at the end of the day, it's all smudged under my eyes, too. This eyeliner has not done this in the last two weeks that I started using it. So far, so good. This eyeliner is not absolutely perfect, but it is definitely up there. My favorite benefit of this eyeliner is how smooth it goes on when you apply it. Some eyeliners will have you drawing dots or dashes first to allow you to apply it without the erratic movement. This one goes on great with one line, in my opinion. I'd recommend this eyeliner to anyone.

Allergy to makeup?

For about a week, my right eye kept watering. I switched to Clinique mascara thinking I may have developed an allergy to my other brand. Nothing changed! So I switched my eye liner and eye shadow to Clinique thinking maybe they were the problem. Immediately, my eye stopped watering! That made a believer out of me!

good for sensitive skin

This eyeliner is great for sensitive skin and does not bother my eyes at all. I chose the brown-black and I like it a lot for everyday wear. It comes off easily in the shower but doesn't seem to wear off during my 12-hour shifts.

Best eyeliner

I love this liner and have used it for years. It goes on smooth and is long lasting . The dark chocolate is a good color for all shades of brown eyed brunettes and blondes.
