Wow! This actually works
OK, so I have super oily skin, not just T-zone issues, and in the summer it just gets worse. I hate the idea of loading on powder, so this product gives some hydration (wouldn't recommend for dry skin or normal), but does work to keep the skin matte for quite a few hours. It says for 8 hours, so I'm not sure about that, but it's definitely made a difference in my first day of using it. It's a gel that goes on and dries quickly, and it does seem to leave some residue, which I guess soaks up the oil. I had no problem applying make-up over it though. I'm hoping I found a "keeper", because at 36, I'm really tired of having oily skin.

NO NO NO NO NO
I have very oily skin and live in Hawaii so it's been impossible for me to find a Clinique moisturizer that doesn't leave my skin sticky and tacky. I was so excited when I put this on and it dried matte! But then putting on makeup was a complete mess since this hydrator only dried with a matte finish, but didn't actually absorb into my skin. It just sat on top, so trying to blend makeup resulted in a hydrator+makeup mud mix being pushed around on my face. I also tried it without makeup, scratched an itch on my face at some point, and ended up with a thick layer of white cream under my nails. Just a cakey, icky mess.

I might buy a vault and hoard this product
I've been told that I have very dry AND very oily skin. The worst of both worlds, right? My skin becomes a grease-slick 2 hours after applying makeup. Gross. I've been using this product for a week and it's the best moisturizer I have ever tried. I put it on in the morning before my makeup and my makeup will last without shine for at least 3 hours. While I don't stay shine-free for 8 hours as advertised, my shine has significantly decreased. I can use an oil blotter pad or a light powder to touch up during the day versus feeling like I wanted to wash my face and start over. I'm a very happy gal with this product.

Awesome product
I love this stuff. I have oily skin with huge pores. It gives a matte look instantly and I dont even have to wear foundation over it. It keeps my skin from getting greasy as well.

Very nice pore refiner
This is the first time I've tried the Pore Refiner from Clinique. I love most Clinique products and so far so good on this one too. Even though I'm more mature, I still have an oily t-zone especially in summer. So far, this refiner isn't controlling the forehead oil as much as I'd like, but my pores do seem to be less evident. Also it does seem to mattify for my makeup application. So, I'm pleased with this product and am pretty sure I'd repurchase when I finish this bottle.

Perfect for combination skin
I have combination skin and this is the only product that works for me. I use it before I apply my make up and I get probably 7-8 hours of matte skin. My skin has changed as I've gotten older and this product is great to keep skin matte and hydrated.
