Cheek Pop Blush

I first tried this after a Nordstroms employee recommended this- I had not worn Clinique make-up since I was a teenager, but do use their skin care. I love this blush- it's buildable and without any shimmer. It does not look powdery on. I originally purchased ginger pop, which is a very natural flush that blends well with bronzer. Recently I lightened my hair and picked up peach pop which is the perfect peach- more of a pale pinky peach than an orange or bronze peach. If you are pale with blonde hair, try peach pop. If you are looking to recreate the "natural/ no make-up" look that is popular, get ginger pop.

Clinique Cheek pop, I got the Plum, works beautifully on mature skin. I use my blush brush, which is angled to help sweep up toward the temples with the blush. I swirled the brush on the blush and applied in a soft, circular motion. I find the color to be very soft, very natural looking, like a lovely flush. The color is buildable, so if you don't feel you have enough color, just repeat until you feel it's the complete look you are seeking. I find this blush lasts all day long without needing a touch-up, but I have dry skin. I do wear the blush over a foundation and moisturizer on my fair skin. I was looking for a blush that was easy to apply, had a natural look and was a cross between a powder and a cream. I did not want anything sparkly or with glitter. At the same time, I didn't want something so mat that it was dull.

I have this blush in the peach pop color, and it is the prettiest blush I own! Like a previous reviewer, I decided to order this blush after reading rave reviews about it on the internet. The packaging is great - compact, yet sturdy, and the lid clicks shut nicely. I like the pretty flower design too - so perfect for spring. The color is a beautiful peach with some pink that goes on sheer. I don't see shimmer, but rather a luminous sheen in the product. It wears on the skin nicely and looks very natural. This was a great purchase. For reference, I have very fair skin and brown eyes and hair.

This color in "Cola Pop" is wonderful for medium to dark skin tones. It is very highly pigmented so you need to lightly swipe the color if you're fair, and build the color up if you're darker. I also have the color "Fig," and it is a very neutral blush tone for women of color. I wear the shade 460 Suede W in Lancôme's Teint Idole 24Hr. foundation for reference. The quality is comparable to higher end blushes. Clinique should add more darker colors for us ladies in the deeper hues.

I love this blush. I was a little afraid that this blush was going to be super bright, however it goes on very sheer. It looks as though I'm not wearing blush and just have a flush to my cheeks. I read good reviews about this blush and decided to try it for myself. I am very happy that I did because it's a very nice product. I have fair skin and found the Plum Pop to be the perfect shade for me. The Berry Pop would definitely look nicer on medium to darker skin tones. As an added bonus, the container that holds the blush is so cheery.
