What it is: A primer that sets up your lids for superior shadow wear.
What it does: It's designed to create a neutral base to hold eyeshadow in place for up to 12 hours. You can even wear it alone for a gorgeous natural glow.
How to use: Using the applicator, dab enough primer to cover your entire eyelid, from your lash line to your brow bone. Blend with your fingertips to create a smooth, even canvas, then apply eyeshadow as desired.

Pointless
I am very disappointed with this product. I bought the 'moderately fair' color and it is twice as dark as the moderately fair concealer. I think it has a fake tan color about it. It also makes my shadow look off... and at the end off the day, my makeup should look better. Going back to my smashbox primer!

It also makes my shadow look off... and at the end off the day, my makeup should look better. Going back to my smashbox primer!

Doesn't work at all
I love Clinique products, but not this one! The color "medium light" was actually quite dark and orangey. Even though my eyelids were clean and dry when I applied the product, my eyeshadow creased almost immediately after using this primer. I am going to return it, and go back to Nars Pro Prime which works like a champ!

Disappointing
It is smooth and creamy, but I don't like the applicator, I feel it will be wasteful. For years I always used touch base and preferred that, I have tried other things since you stopped making touch base, but nothing is as good. I wish you would bring it back.

Very poor Clinique!
Love a lot of the Clinique products and have used for about 40 years as started young! Have tried this twice now in the hope that the first one was a duffer, but this one is just as bad. Goes gloopy and does not sit well on older skin. In no time, it also goes lumpy in the tube and does not blend well on the skin. To make matters worse, it irritates my eyes. Please come up with something better Clinique.

Super Smooth
I found this very easy to apply, it's really soft & smooth and I loved the applicator. I don't like the natural colour of my eyelids so I wear this on its own when I want a 'no makeup' look. It's matte but it really brightens my eyes & I love it. Sorry I can't give it 5 stars though as it still sits in the creases. Will definitely buy again & I'd love it if you brought out more eye shadows in this format.
