Clinique's medicated troubleshooter with benzoyl peroxide helps clear stubborn, recurring blemishes while unclogging bacteria-filled pores, controlling oil and reducing redness. Clinique recommends daily use of sunscreen in conjunction with this product.

How to use: Apply a thin layer directly to the affected area 1-2 times daily. Start with one application daily, then gradually increase to twice a day if needed or directed to by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce usage.

Will clear your skin and make you glow!

I needed something to help clear some occasional blemishes... I get stubborn pimples that seem to linger for days and i was over it! I was trying to decide between this and Clinique's salicylic acid acne solutions. When I bought this in store, she was kind enough to give me a sample of the salicylic acid solution. I have pretty normal skin, not oily or dry and not sensitive. One night before bed I used the salicylic acid on one problem area and the emergency gel lotion on another problem area. I felt as though the salicylic acid worked very well on fresh (like new pimples that were red) areas while the benzoyl works very well on not so fresh areas, healing those areas and keeping them from darkening. So then I bought the salicylic acid as well. Basically my face has never felt better. Pimples are not sticking around forever and leaving dry spots for weeks.

Dries out!!!

Completely dried out my skin, made it so irritable. It did not even completely dry out the pimple. But did dry out the skin tremendously that now it feels and looks burned. It made my skin significantly worse.

acne treatment

Dries out blemishes quickly. Be careful to use just a little and don't apply where it's not needed.

Not bad!

Works well for spot treatment. Doesn't dry out my skin. Doesn't irritate skin, and is fragrance free.

My go-to spot treatment

I have been using this as a spot treatment for at least 6 years. I tried another spot treatment this year just to see how it compared to this one and had an allergic reaction to it, so I switched back. I will never use another spot treatment again! This is great for sensitive skin, but also very effective with quick results. Blemishes/pimples don't stand a chance. Mine never take more than a day to clear up.

Great for Acne

I am not typically a Clinique fan, but this was recommended to me by a lady at Nordstrom. She is my new best friend. This stuff works quickly without drying. I've tried every acne product out there, and even had prescriptions. This works extremely well.

Acne Solutions Is the BEST

I love this product. Every time I get a blemish, I just put a little bit of this lotion on the troubled spot and before you know it, the blemish fades away quickly. Just an awesome product!!!
