CoolMax® Cooling Mattress Pad

This does not cool... it absorbs heat and retains it - just the opposite of what it claims to do.

This is my second cool max mattress pad from Nordstrom. They barely fit the queen mattress. I made the mistake of putting the first one in the dryer. The new one will be hang dried. Good news the pads are super cushy and a great price!

Does not do what it claims, if you're not looking for cooling you might like it because it has a nice thin layer of cushioning

Needed a ordinary mattress pad with deep pockets to cover 17” high mattress. Unfortunately I didn’t realize this pad was so thick and bulky when I ordered it. I am really trying to like this, but it’s not going well. What I don’t like: •I want a mattress pad I can wash in my own washing machine - not having to go to a laundry mat to fit the darn thing in a larger machine. •In the clothes dryer most of the lint that usually ends up in the lint trap gets stuck to the bottom of this mattress pad. Not sure what the bottom fabric is, but it attracts lint. Spent forever pulling the lint off of it. •It states it keeps you ‘cool’. Wherever my body touches the mattress, I end up ‘extremely’ hot and sweaty. Never had that happen with my old mattress pad. Maybe it will work out better in the winter months?? •Storing this is a joke. Thought of putting my old mattress pad back on the bed, but I have no place to store the new mattress pad since it’s almost impossible to fold and compress it to fit on a size shelf of any size. Too bulky. The good points: If you have a very hard mattress, I could see this working real well with the extra padding it provides. But I didn’t need that. This winter I’ll see how it works. If not well, I won’t be keeping it. What a waste. I am so sorry I ordered this.

The Cool Max mattress pad really works, and the extra bonus it's so plush.

very convenient fit exactly the full but needed a little more fabric. but wider
