Radiant Cushion Foundation

Can someone please tell me how long this product is supposed to last? Mine only lasted me 2-3 weeks until it's dried out (used up). Actually after the first week it started to get really hard to get the foundation out. I only used once a day. Other than being super expensive (~$100 for 3 weeks?!), I was happy with the coverage and how my skin looked with a beautiful glow.

I’ve ditched all my foundation because this is the only one I need! I have sensitive combo BUT good skin to begin with so this works well for me. However one days I have blemished appear on my skin, this doesn’t really do a good cover up so I use their concealer which is my HG! For someone who doesn’t have clear skin you may need a thicker foundation. Also wish they had SPF in it so I took off one star for that and because it’s also probably the most expensive cushion on the market.

Despite the item info requested, the shade that I have is O20, which is the same shade that I use in CdP’s liquid foundations. I have to say that cushion foundations have really spoiled me. They apply and settle quickly, can be built up to medium coverage and are portable. What more can you want in a luxury cosmetic product? There is a slight learning curve for those new to cushion foundation, ranging from nest application to getting the most out of an expensive product. The nest application for me is to press the applicator into the sponge a couple of times, then roll it onto the skin, concentrating in the center, then smoothing it out toward the edges. To me, this is very similar to targeted application of powder. The result is a seamless, light application of foundation. Because you’re exerting pressure on the top of the sponge, you’re effectively pushing the foundation to the bottom of the sponge. When you reach the point where you’re not getting sufficient foundation on the applicator, simply turn the sponge over. The sponge can be turned over several times before all of the foundation is exhausted. I’ve been using my cushion foundation since March, without problems. It’s just now reaching the point where I need a refill and I’m seriously considering adding some of my liquid foundation to the sponge to see if its use can be expanded further. I was surprised that several reviewers commented about only having three weeks’ use and wonder if any attempt to turn the cushion was made. If the answer is yes, then I’d certainly contact Cle de Peau immediately. My experience has been very good. I love the convenience and skin care benefits of this product. I especially love how easy it is to get a light application. Is it the best cushion foundation that I’ve used? No, because the shade is slightly off for me. However, it’s my second favorite and I don’t hesitate to recommend it.
