Eye Color Quad Refill

This review is for the "Baby Universe" quad. One of the best things about these shadows is their staying power, but also the fact that they don't seem to crease or move across the lid during the day. I don't use eye primer and these really don't need one. There's virtually no fallout and you can use them under or over liner, so you can create a large range of looks that have staying power. In this palette, the colors are neutral and very flattering. They don't have an overly red or yellow undertone, so they seem like they'd be flattering on nearly anyone. They also have some serious layering ability, so they'd show up on any skin tone, too. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that some of the colors are so similar to each other, it's hard to understand why they're in the same palette. Bottom line: Please remember my experience/review is with ONE palette, other palettes might be different but this one is flake-free, lasting and easy to wear but it might be a slight bit redundant in terms of colors.

I have both 303 and 313. It feels like buttery fined powder melt into your skin. 8+ hours staying power, it's great for everyday eye makeup. What I like it the most is effortlessly blending on my eye lid without dragging the skin, as a result it takes shorter time to finish my eye makeup without creating wrinkles around my eye. Sometimes I would pair it with Giorgio Armani eye tint to create a more dramatic look. Both formulas work well together.

Cle de Peau eye shadows belong in a totally different category because they are so exceptional. I own this Stardust palette and Satin Moon and they look great with green/hazel eyes! They stay on all day, go on easy, and don't fall off the brush during application. They are more expensive, but worth every penny.

Cle de peau eyeshadows are pure luxuries. I love the texture. It's so smooth and silky. You don't even need to blend it, it's just self blending. I have 207, 209 and 206. They are all shimmery and glittery, but I love them that way. They really make your eyes sparkle in a very sophisticated way. The colors stay true on your lids. The trick is to press the shadows onto your lids so you do not get fallouts. The Spring 2014 release eye quads 212 and 213 are more matte. If you love little luxuries, what are you waiting for? These eye quads are the best. They will make the windows to your soul so much more mesmerizing!

I’m creating a capsule set of make up products. I decluttered drawers. I had 13 eye palettes 6.5 years of product per a spreadsheet Calculator I found online! I personally do not want a make up stash any longer. This quad (303) is my daily wear workhorse made the cut. I’ve been wearing daily for about a month. I’m fair blue eyes slightly hooded with a bit of crepe. Shadow is highly pigmented very little fallout lasts all day doesn’t crease. Very easy to apply and blend. The colors are not glitter but add a little flattering satin sheen. I’m not a make up pro by any means but I’ve created several different looks and have liked all of them including two versions of one color and done. This quad is not a wow in your face, I believe it’s meant for an elegant polished day look or a light no make up look. I love it and will repurchase when I pan this. Expensive yes but my logic is I’ve found what works and will not be purchasing anything thing else. I did purchase separate case and appreciate refill system. Blush 102 pairs well with this shadow quad and I also use The Foundation in my makeup capsule.

I was very disappointed in this product...esp at the cost of $80.00 with case....the product isn't as good as 95% of all my other palettes....The fall off is where most of it ends up....very little color payoff...even after several layers. Most ended up on my face under eyes. I use high end products and although the color was beautiful the quality isn't there. I have returned it but still haven't received an acknowledgement after 8 days...
