Classic Squishee® Straw Packable Fedora Sun Hat

Not packable. I purchased this for 2 reasons....the fedora style and the ability to pack it into luggage. The description gives the impression that you can just cram it, toss it, pack it into any bag and it pops back. This is not at all the case. When I received the hat I noticed a label inside the hat with detailed packing instructions. It explains the hat should be placed in luggage upside down, fill it with lingerie (or other similar delicate objects I would imagine) and you sort of have to pack clothes around it to support it. Well, although annoyed that these packing instructions were a far cry from the description online, I followed them to a tee only to get to my destination with a hat that bulged out on the top where it should cave in (note the style of the fedora in the front, it has slight indentations on both sides right above the band) It looked ridiculous. In no way did it regain any shape. I was far from home, in a warm tropical location with a now horrible looking hat. I had to take the time to find a store/mall that would allow me to get a better looking hat that I would actually like and want to keep. Needless to say, I returned this promptly upon returning home. Wish it would have been more accurately described online, it would've saved me a lot of time and the headache of having to find a good hat while on vacation. Two stars for the style and fit...zero stars for the inaccurate description.

It looks great, beautiful and good quality. I didn't pack it after all the reviews and to take care of my EJ, this traveled on my carry-on and bag using a toptote, wich I also recommend.

I usually have a hard time finding a hat, this one is great. I would suggest not packing it though as mine did t hold up well but I was able to salvage the shape.

Definitely 5 stars!!! I have a tiny head and always have trouble finding hats-- particularly nice quality fedoras that look good on me. This one is going to be my go to fedora! The quality is fantastic-- the price not so much, but I am extremely happy with my purchase. To change up the style, I've been contemplating wrapping some of my favorite bandanas, scarves and chokers around the hat. For the small heads out there, this is THEE hat for you... not to mention, you can squish it and it pops right back into form.

Great hat - no issues with it fitting my rather large head and massive style points in wearing it. Dress it up, dress it down. Tried the natural with black band first - found the natural too dark. Big fan of the cream and black.

Love this hat yet much like the reviews before this , it is not truly packable and does not hold its shape once it's been squished for longer than 5 minutes. Given the style is perfect & I love the look with it's perfect size brim ... & if it didn't cost $300 after tax I think I could overlook the lack of packability.. unfortunately I cannot justify the cost of this hat just to look cute...
