The 6-inch Classic Moc is synonymous with Red Wing Heritage. The boot's unmistakable moc toe and Traction Tred outsole form a silhouette that sets the standard by which all others are measured. Black Cherry Excalibur provides a beautiful casting of undertones after break-in allowing the full-grain leather to shine.

- Clean using warm water and a brush to remove dirt from footwear. Dry with a cloth. For heavily soiled areas, apply Foam Leather Cleaner with a cloth or brush. Wipe cleaner away with a damp cloth and allow leather to dry.
- Condition by appling a light, even coat of All Natural Boot Oil, Mink Oil, or All Natural Leather Conditioner to leather with fingers, cloth, or sponge. Proper conditioning keeps leather healthy and extends the life of footwear.
- Protect by lightly misting footwear with Leather Protector six to eight inches away from the leather in a sweeping motion. Leather Protector provides a shield against dirt and moisture.

Quality and Style can go hand in hand.
I have worn a pair of Red Wing 9111s for over a decade now, I love them and they fit me like a glove. I decided it was time for a new pair of boots. I got a pair of the 8847 and somehow, magically, the last is even more comfortable for me. Not that the other pair was uncomfortable in any way, but somehow these 8847s just felt so perfect right away. I'm now a month in of near daily use and they are getting better and better.
Red Wing is the real deal. Find the last that works for (both work for me, but the no 8 of my older pair has been surpassed by the no 23 of my new)
I liked these boots so nice I bought them twice - I bought a pair of 877s after I fell in love with how the 8847s felt.

Hurt my heel
I can’t wear these for more than 20 minutes and I have blisters on back of my heels. I’ve worn them roughly 10 times and still not getting better. What’s the trick to breaking these in??? I’m ready to trash them!

Love a Moc Toe Boot
This is the Mac toe boot all others are based on. This boot is so comfortable after it breaks in. Plus, they look cool.

Sharp Boots
Just received the Black Cherry version. Not my first pair, and I am already trying to decide which one will be my next. But for the life of me, I don't understand why they don't offer more of these with the big Vibram Lug soles (i.e Roughneck). Those are so much better in the winter if you live in the north country. If Red wing was really sharp, they would have some kind of configuration tool like other premium bootmaker's have and people could design their own from a pre-determined pallet of materials.

Black Copper Excalibur Classic Moc - My first ones
I have bought this first Classic Moc Boots in Nuremberg, Germany last week and yes, it is some hard time to wear them in. After one week, they are still a bit stiff, but they get better and better every day. The quality and comfort is outstanding and worse every (Euro-)Cent. I am pretty sure, that this will not be my last pair of Red Wings!
For everybody who thinks about buying some, please go to a good dealer and wear them before you buy them! And also wear them with good, thick socks in the beginning.
