Rare to find quality like Wusthof these days
I bought my Wusthof knife set 35 years ago which came with a sharpener. I have never had a need in 35 years to buy another knife until my recent relocation where I somehow lost the paring knife in the move. If you buy good quality, you only have to buy it once in a lifetime.

Not all that much difference. .
Not much difference between this knife and the 7 year old Henckel that I have been sharpening. There is a slight difference, but not a WOW difference. Not sure if I am going to keep it or not.

the quality i'd expect
While things change, oftentimes for the worse, the quality of Wüsthof knives hasn't.

Replacement
We have two wusthof knife block sets and this knife broke and they replaced it. I was very happy to have it replaced at no cost. We have never had and issue with their products before and I am glad they replaced it because they are quality products.
