Unfortunately this was not a wide shoe. Fantastic design, light weight, soft leather upper. I personally would have preferred a traditional adjustable buckle by the ankle strap instead of Velcro but I can see the benefit this may bring for others. The toe box (area below your toes) was narrow and slightly too long. The vamp (the amount of space from the ball of your foot to the top of your foot) would have been perfect if the fit was a true wide.

Another set of travel shoes and for summer i always wanted a white shoes. However the straps are very tight had to return it

I bought the white ones. They are cute but even the medium was too wide for my already wide foot. The buckle also hit my foot right above the bone on outside of my foot which was very uncomfortable. Going down a size would not have been an option. Also, couldn't tighten the buckle any more then it came as.

I ordered the nude color. The sandals looked fabulous and not like your typical Clark’s, however my feet are on the narrow side and the sandals were too wide for me - so I returned them. Also, the length runs short so size up. I normally wear 7.5 and the 8 were exactly right.

I love the white...very comfortable...and especially the Velcro strap, I am happy.

The black suede (covered platform) are lovely looking and can be worn with for a dressy occasion; they almost have a 1940s vibe. The suede is buttery soft and a rich, beautiful black. They show a bit too much toe for my taste (at he intersection where the toe straps cross). As for fit, I'm usually an 8.5 or 9M, with the exception of heels, when I often buy W (my foot is narrow at the heel but wider across the toes). These, an 8.5W, were indeed wide but my foot was sliding forward so I'm quite sure the pressure on my toes would've been uncomfortable quickly anyway, AND toes hanging off, of course, is not exactly a good look. The strap around the back of my foot was falling, as another reviewer noted. The footbed has some cushioning but not much, if any, arch support. Back they go.
