shoe lacing is too fancy
When I received the shoes they had been laced with a fancy lacing pattern that was difficult to use. It was difficult and painful to loosen the lacing and put the shoes on and I considered returning them. The next day I removed the laces and re-laced the shoes in a traditional weave and it was easy and comfortable to put the shoes on, so I decided to keep them (they actually are nice shoes).
