Good Investment
I bought both the cartridge in #204 and the holder after seeing them on The Raeviewer. I was impressed with how natural her brows looked and so I splurged. I normally just buy Clé de Peau refills, but in this case, I thought the holder was worth the extra expense. Unless you're accustomed to using small tools, trying to grip just the cartridge doesn't give you very good control. In my opinion, the holder makes a big difference. It is weighted well, is easy to grip, gives you good control, and has a nice spoolie for smoothing out and blending the pencil. It is sturdy without being heavy and is well made. If money is a concern, I'd suggest buying just the cartridge initially and then, if you like it, purchasing the holder.

not worth the $$
saw a blogger review this and i was sooo excited to try. probably better if you have thicker brows and dont need to draw in as much. i have very sparse eyebrows so when i tried drawing mine in, it took a TON of effort n did not give me the natural thick look i was looking for. i prefer the brow wiz from anastasia, and surprisingly i keep going back to the laura mercier brow pencil too. this wasn't worth the $ for me.

Good Investment

Best!
Cle de Peau is the only eyebrow pencil that will give me perfectly natural effects. My brows were over tweezed years ago, and unfortunately, never really completely grew back.
I had been using the original product that used to come in the metal applicator, so wasn't sure if the product had changed, and thankfully, it's giving me the same amazing results.

Ok only
Bought this after seeing review from RAEviewr. I am surprise how highly she rated it. I used Kevyn Aucoin and Anatasia brows product. They are more superior than this brand. This brow product wears off after 3 hours and forget about wearing it to the gym....you will be left with no brows. Their concealer product is great though.

Solid pencil holder
The cdp pencil holder is sturdy with the best spoolie I've ever used. Please note the pencil is sold separately. The cost is high, but will last for years.

A Worthy Investment
Perfection. The brow pencil holder has lasted with no issues for 6-7 years. I purchase the refills in #204—which is a perfect match for me. Easy to apply, easy to blend, and stays on until I remove it. I have tried Anastasia’s brow pencil and brow powder, Dior’s the universal brow styler, Chanel’s brow pencil and BYREDO.
Love this one the most!
