Lovely but looked horrible on me!
First of all, the main reason I am leaving this review is because I could find none for this dress before I bought it. This was my first City Chic dress and the few reviews I had read for their other dresses were Al over the place insofar as size was concerned. I had no idea if I was getting the best size or not. As it happens, the dress size recommended for my measurements fit perfectly. And this is a beautiful dress! It’s heavy and we’ll made. It feels like a nice dress should feel. My problem was that it was horribly unflattering. It looked fine from the front, but from behind and from the side, I looked like I had gained forty pounds!! I showed a pic of myself in the dress to both of my kids and they couldn’t believe how huge I looked!! So, despite fitting well, this is going back. Maybe it’s the sheath style. It just seemed to bubble over my butt, and mine needs no accentuating. Lol.
